Set in Rio de Janeiro, on the lush outskirts near the Tijuca rainforest, MANGOMACUMBA evokes the atmosphere of syncretic spiritual rituals often referred to as macumba—a blend of African-rooted traditions, elements of popular Christianity, and Brazilian cultural influences. Beyond Western clichés, these rites are frequently centered on protection, well-being, prosperity, and luck—a world where faith, nature, and mystery meet.

MANGOMACUMBA is the first creation of the Oscurata Collection by SPIRITICA. Crafted as a 35% extrait de parfum, it delivers a vivid, long-lasting evolution that moves from radiant tropical joy into a darker, mineral depth.

The opening is fresh, bright, and tropical: a realistic mango accord bursts with juicy sweetness, sharpened by lime and pineapple. A touch of peppermint adds an airy, ozonic lift—cool, oxygenating, and instantly energising.

In the heart, the fragrance turns more enigmatic. Tropical florals meet a subtle metallic/mineral tension, creating a striking contrast—lush and sensual, yet shadowed by something ritualistic and primal.

The drydown deepens into a warm, smoky trail. Precious tobacco absolute blends with the dark elegance of ebony wood, grounded by red-earth warmth and softened by creamy lactonic notes. The result is magnetic: a scent that starts in sunlight and ends in dusk—bold, unusual, unforgettable.

Created in collaboration with young perfumer Daniele Cerroni, who developed the fragrance step by step following the conceptual vision of founder Daniele Muratori Caputo, MANGOMACUMBA is an invitation to look beyond imposed narratives—toward cultural complexity, contrast, and the mysterious edges of human experience.
